Sehr hohe Impfquote

Wozu brauchen wir eigentlich eine sehr hohe Impfquote? 

Island hat die höchste Impfquote in der EU (87% sind doppelt geimpft) -  und aktuell liegen die isländischen Zahlen auf einem Rekordhoch (deutlich höher als 2020).

Ähnliches Bild in Israel: Sehr hohe Impfquote - sehr viel Neuansteckungen.

Wozu müssen wir uns (fast) alle impfen lassen? Um was genau zu erreichen?
